Hello, dear Gong lovers, sound enthusiasts, and curious ones, welcome to GongZeit – your specialist for gongs, singing bowls, and extraordinary sound objects.
I founded GongZeit in 2016 with the mission of bringing these beautiful sound objects closer to a wider public and freeing them from the dust of esotericism. Above all, the gongs are so much more… they are works of art, exquisite sound tools, musical & healing instruments, design objects, meditation helpers and expressions of true craftsmanship.
This fascination when sound is not only heard but also felt and touches people drives me and gives me so much more than only money. The human touch is also very important to me, both in our consultations with you, our customers, and with our manufacturers. I know all of them personally and almost all of them became friends over the years. This is the only way it makes sense and is fun for me.
My Path in Sound
My passion for gongs and percussive instruments began with a love of music a very long time ago (when I was 6 :)) and a curiosity about sound – not only as a relaxation instrument, but also in different musical styles and as sound sculptures or sound images in everyday life. I've seen how gongs can transform a living room into a gallery, set a garden vibrating, or captivate an entire audience on stage.
At the same time, I've always been fascinated by the craftsmanship and experience required to make a high-quality gong. A metal plate is forged by human hands into a complete work of art combining appearance and sound. This perfection, beauty, and fascination leaves few people unmoved.
